Ntaba Coffee Haus began when owners Stella and Robin Mountain visited coffee farms in Ethiopia. After seeing the farms, meeting the people who picked the coffee, and experiencing the best coffee from the soil to the cup, they knew they wanted to find a way to get the best African coffee to America.

Chef Shiro Kashiba started Seattle's first sushi bar in 1970 after years of grueling training alongside world renown sushi chef Jiro Ohno in Tokyo. Chef Shiro Kashiba introduced his masterpiece, Sushi Kashiba in December 2015.
